'I'm pictured here at Porthcurno, my favourite beach, which I can give you details of, and many other places in the surrounding area which will make your holiday a memorable one. I live only 5 minutes drive away and am available to answer any queries you have and give any local information you need. I provide a welcome hamper (for stays of 5 nights or more) with local produce and freshly baked cookies on your arrival. There is free parking on the street outside the cottage but there is also a pay and display car park in the next road (£6.10 for 24 hours or free after 6pm) and there is a large car park with many spaces at Sandy Cove opposite the cottage (download the app, £20 for a one week permit or £8 for 24 hours). I have also created an information folder in the cottage packed full of interesting ideas and local facilities.'

There are a range of paintings in the cottage (including the porthole paintings in the living room) by a Cornish artist Georgie Harrison (www.geebythesea.co.uk). We have a special discount code for Oikos Cottage guests to use on her website as well as an offer of 'Paint My Holiday' - you can send her a photo of your holiday that she will paint for you.
